I started Roahl because when I went to my sock closet, I didn’t look forward to putting on any of the pairs that I had.

Time and time again, I searched for the few tried and true pairs, but grew frustrated when they turned out not to be durable. So I set out to make socks that are comfortable and durable socks with a sharp design

I want these socks to be your go to pair. That means they have to be built for the most demanding use case: long travel days. If we could make socks that people want to wear to the airport for an 8-hour journey and while climbing the stairs of Positano searching for La Dolce Vita, then we have the pair we want.

I knew I could make socks, because socks have history in my family. My family is from Istanbul, Turkiye where I grew up. My uncle grew up in another town, and when he moved to Istanbul, the first job he got was in sock manufacturing. He worked for a small company, but his tenacity helped him make a name for himself in the industry and grow the company that he worked for. Socks launched his now 20+ year career in textile manufacturing.
